February 2001 J.R. Hunter Named Chief Operating Officer of EC Power International, Inc. J.R. Hunter, who joined EC Power as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2000, has been named Chief Operating Officer and a Director of the Company. EC Power is a Houston-based provider of e-commerce transaction routing services for major energy companies and their trading partners. Prior to joining EC Power, Mr. Hunter served as Vice President of Sales/Western U.S. for BMC Software, and had extensive experience during his 12 year tenure with BMC in operations of international offices as well as numerous sales and marketing roles. In addition to his experience at BMC, Mr. Hunter spent over 12 years in sales and marketing with IBM, later serving as Vice President of Sales for Decimus, a computer-leasing company owned by GE Credit Corp.
