March 2006Suzette Sondag Joins EC Power as Account Manager and ERCOT Liaison
Suzette started working for EC Power in March 2006 as an Account Manager in the Business Solutions group. Her focus is working with clients participating in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) region, as well as being an active participant in the working group that supports the EDI X12 transactions used in Texas. EC Power is a Houston-based provider of e-commerce transaction routing services for the natural gas and electric power industries.
Prior to joining EC Power, Suzette worked at ERCOT as the Retail Market Liaison where she managed the EDI X12 standards for Texas and provided assistance to Texas market participants on developing system solutions to address market issues. Some of her leadership experiences include; Market Coordination Lead for Texas X12 Standards upgrades, member of the active Texas working group that supports EDI X12 Standards, and Testing Lead for establishing the initial release based methodology for system changes at ERCOT.
Suzette holds a BS in Business Administration from North Dakota State University and has worked with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for 8 years. Upon graduation Suzette joined Accenture, formerly Andersen Consulting, where her focus was assisting utility companies as they modified their systems to support deregulation.
