March 2007 Bill Hunsicker Joins EC Power as the Northeast Account Manager Houston, TX - EC Power is pleased to announce Bill Hunsicker as their Northeast Account Manager. Bill's focus will be to work with clients in the northeast region as well as actively participate in the various state working groups. Bill began his extensive work experience in the electric industry in the 1970's with GPU in which, for 20 years, he held various management positions. He worked as a project manager for two different CIS vendors and, most recently, as the Director of Information Systems for an electric and gas retailer who supplied customers in 31 utilities in 11 states and Canada. Bill has also been active in various state and national working groups responsible for creating state and Ontario, Canada guidelines for the electric and gas deregulation. "Having been in the utility industry for over 28 years, I have gained an understanding of the issues involved in deregulation and the hurdles many companies have to overcome to be successful in the business.
